Xbox One S 4k Blu Ray Try Again

Hey ItsParN -

I'd like to become a petty scrap of clarification -

1. Piece of cake one first - Please double check that you lot are using the UHD disc and not the 1080p Blu-Ray disc of your moving-picture show.
2. Where are y'all seeing that your Blu-Ray is only being shown in 1080p?
3. What movies are you experiencing this with?

Now, equally far equally some troubleshooting goes, we have a guide for troubleshooting 4K and HDR on Xbox One South. Additionally, you could try uninstalling the blu-ray thespian, power cycling your Xbox One S console, and and then re-installing the content and trying once more.

I'yard having similar bug... at that place is definitely an issue with either the Blu-ray app or the latest organisation update. None of my normal Blu-rays upscale to 4k anymore. And I've tried literally everything to fix it, nothing works. Xb Back up on Twitter is no help at all, they just desire to blame information technology on everything else.

This needs to exist investigated further by MS in-house because it's getting annoying not being able to use my XB1 S like I'm supposed to.

Mine is doing the same on Xbox One S ... and plus the Audio Sync issues make it similar watching a Bruce Lee moving picture

I re installing the aps and noting modify ! 1080p once more :(

I am having the aforementioned experience every bit ItsParN. I have the Samsung UHD 7250. The smart hub Netflix and Amazon are in Ultra HD when streaming.  The Xbox 1 South dashboard is in 4k or upscale 4k except the Ultra Blu Rays that I endeavour.  When I put those in it goes dorsum to 1080P.  Advanced video options in the settings show green check marks for my tv 4K options.  The Xbox One South Netflix app doesn't not testify the 4k Ultra content.  Neither does the Amazon app.

uncheck 24Hz option and now im in 4k 60p for my UHD blu ray :)

Thanks so much!  This worked for me! Just to clarify if any others are dislocated you need to go into settings, and then display and audio, then advanced options, and so uncheck 24hz.
